My journey to become a homeopath
I studied pharmacy science at the Complutense University in Madrid, where I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in 1997. My first contact with homeopathy took place while working as a pharmacist in Madrid. Most of the customers who used homeopathy were quite happy about their results so I was intrigued by it. As a pharmacist I was quite disappointed about the side effects of medication and the permanent state of chronic illness my customers suffered from, so I started looking for a better ways to understand health and disease. After three years working as an assistant in a couple of Pharmacies in Madrid, I took up the challenge of opening my own Parapharmacy shop, specialized in naturopathy.
I then discovered the many possibilities that naturopathy offers to heal our body without the drawbacks of the allopathic remedies. During the time I run my own business, I took up plenty of courses related to naturopathy. I learned about Bach’s flowers and Schusler’s salts and how our emotions take an important role in our state of health. My interest in these new and alternative therapies drew me to Bristol, where I undertook homeopathy studies. Finally, four years later, I graduated in the Contemporary College of Homeopathy in July 2013.
During the last years I have also had the opportunity to travel and have practical training in two of the most prestigious classical homeopathy schools: The International Homeopathy Academy of professor George Vithoulkas in Greece and the Allen College of homeopathy under the direction of professor Dr Subrata Banerjea, in India.
Being aware of another way to understand health and disease was an enormous impact on me. Homeopathy is a blessing in my life.
